One
animal you are certain to see in "Continental Divide Outfitters"
area is a bear. They are plentiful. They roam the hills freely in
the spring searching for fresh green sprigs. At that time we try to
lure the animals with our three generation family secret bear bait
recipe. Experience and location of bait ensure a successful bear
hunt more times than not. Bear in Idaho are Black Bear, but they
come in any color from deep black to blonde and all colors in
between. With this type of hunting, you are likely to see a bear
very close. It can be the experience of a lifetime! Although we only
do guided bear hunts in the spring, you may see a bear in the fall
and a bear tag can be included in a combination deer or elk tag hunt
if you desire. It would truly be a great addition to your fall
hunting package. |

You'll be staying in a modern, comfortable, cozy
bunkhouse. Breakfast and dinner (included) will be eaten at the
lodge. Lunches will be packed and eaten in the field. Each morning
your guide will pick you up and you will be off on the hunt!
Depending on weather and road conditions you will use 4X4 vehicles,
snow mobiles, or sometimes on foot to designated hunting areas. Both
bear and cougar hunting are physically and mentally demanding
sports. After a full day of hunting, you'll want to relax in comfort
with a hearty meal, a hot shower, great companionship and a cozy
bed.
