The Mule Deer hunt is a short but exceptionally exciting one for "Continental Divide Outfitters". We have a special hunting area picked out for this particular five days. Our experience in the area has proven that the Mule Deer concentration is highest in this special area at the exact time the season begins. There is nothing more awe inspiring than a large mule deer buck in your sights. We will work very hard to see that you have this experience and are successful.

We set forth for camp via 4 X 4 vehicles. Horses are saddled and packed at our first camp, located eight miles up Hull Creek Road. Seven miles of horse back riding (approx. 3 hours) ends at Grizzle Spring base camp.

Our tents are set up in advance in accordance with Forest Service regulations. 3-6 person tents are for sleeping, stocked with 4 inch foam mats on cots and one large tent houses the cooking and dining accommodations. All tents are heated with wood stoves to keep the chill out.

There will be at least three guides in camp and no more than six hunters in one camp per hunt. Guides take hunters out on foot in the morning and again in the early evening. Most hunting takes place within 1-2 miles of camp.
